Birthday boy

Here's Quentin, the sort of mascot of the shelter we volunteer at,
at his birthday party. (OK, it was a fund-raiser, too!) Quentin somehow survived the gas chamber at the St. Louis city pound a couple of years ago. The pound still euthanizes, but because of efforts by Stray Rescue's director (and Quentin), it now does so by less barbaric lethal injection.
