Old dogs, new tricks

Clyde and I just finished obedience class -- hooray! He was a recall superstar.

I know you're thinking that I took the wrong dog, but Chuy's been through obedience before. ("The worst nine weeks of my life," Ian says.) Besides, while Clyde and I were at class, the Chu was busy eating this:
He stole the Lush Buffy scrubby bar from the bathtub, ate half of it and stashed the rest in his bed. He is a little man with a big (foul) food drive.

Lazy Sunday

"Art in Bloom" exhibit at the St. Louis Art Museum, a little shopping and a divoon dinner at Terrene.

Snow day!

No, seriously, I get to stay home from work today. That never happened in Chicago! Then again, they don't plow for shit here.

Sunshine day

Ian was off today -- yay! We went to the Midwest Regional Barista Competition at Third Degree Glass Factory (pictured here, obviously). It was really pretty and cool -- v. Art Institute. Then we hit the Cod & Cask Festival at the Schlafly Tap Room. Ian ate Icelandic plokkfiskur -- shredded cod, béchamel and cheese --
and drank cask IPA and English brown. It was a good day.

Sick in a good way

I just ate half a package (box? brick?!) of halvah.
